Following Tasake, Mimuro Sugi is now on tap 😍. The sake rice and rice polishing are the same, but this one has 13% alcohol by volume! Here's the difference 😆. The aroma is... chestnut 🌰? 😮. Why such a first impression😅 But if you sniff carefully, it's lychee-like? 🤔 But like the rice wine, it's pretty scarce though 🤣. The taste has the umami and sweetness that is typical of Mimuro cedar, but it's also very clean and a bit dry due to the sake rice 😃. but it is also a little dry 😃. Also, there is a bitterness in the aftertaste. It also has a bitterness in the aftertaste and is somewhat grain-like 🤔. I have the impression that many Mimuro cedar can be drunk by itself. but this one seems to be a good sake for eating 🎶. If Tasake is light and dry this one is light sweet? I wonder if they tried to differentiate by making it lower in alcohol content? I'm not sure 🤔. I'll ask them if I have time at the Imanishi Shuzo event next month 😁. I forgot to write a review 🤣 Dry Tasake > Mimuro Sugi Umami Tasake < Mimuro cedar Aroma Tasake ≤ Mimuro cedar sharpness Tasake >> Mimuro cedar Food sake Tasake ≧ Mimuro cedar Taste Tasake >> Mimuro cedar Both have a slightly sharp impression. I think Mimuro-cedar is more popular with everyone 🤔. But when I think of it as a food sake Tasake is the better choice as a food sake 😋.

etorannzyu, good morning ☀Tasake's blue label Watarifune was pretty good though 😆 Mimuro has lowered the alcohol content, interesting 😆.

Hello Manachy 😃 I haven't had the blue label yet 😅. I think it would have been more interesting to compare them with the same alcohol content anyway 🤔.

Erin Hello 😃 I would certainly recommend Mimuro cedar 🤔. However, please note that it is less sweet than other Mimuro cedar ‼️.

Good evening, etorannzyu! It's interesting how the same rice can be so different! I was curious about the Mimuro cedar from the way I saw it 😄.

Hi Ponchan 😃 It's interesting because the brewed taste can be totally different depending on the brewery 🎶. It depends on your taste, but many people seem to like Mimuro cedar 🤔.
