This week we had Kudokibe from Kamenoi Shuzo!
This time it was from Jr. Ultra High Polishing Rice Co.
It's been a while since we've had Jr.
Let's have it right away!
The first day
First, the aroma. It has a sweet and refreshing aroma.
When you put it in your mouth, it is not too sweet, but you can feel the richness, spiciness, bitterness, and various other tastes.
It is a very strange taste.
The lingering aftertaste is spicy and bitter.
It's hard to describe the sweetness in it. It stimulates various taste buds until the aftertaste.
The second day
The bitterness and spiciness hit hard today as well.
When served with a meal, the balance of bitterness and sweetness is good, and the umami can be felt well.
Personally, I like the umami taste of this wine with a meal.
3rd day
The sweetness has increased and the bitterness and pungency have become milder, giving the impression of a better balance.
And today, too, I can't get enough of its deliciousness when served with a meal.
We are healed by delicious sake this week, too!

I found it to be the most bitter and pungent of all the Kudoi I've had so far 😲.

I'm a sweet person, so maybe I'm a bit too sweet to judge the dryness, but it was a delicious sake with a bitter pungent taste and a sweet flavor within it 😋.

I too was under the impression that Kudo-san was sweet because he had chosen something that looked sweet, but this one is sweet with a gusto and bitter pungency, so you two might like it too 🤗.
