This week we decided on a sake that can also be enjoyed warmed.
This is Kaze no Mori ALPHA 5 by Aburacho Shuzo.
This was my first Kaze no Mori, and at the time I was unaware that it was a sake that could be enjoyed heated, but I enjoyed it cold and was impressed by its deliciousness.
I was very impressed with the taste 💧 I will try ALPHA5 soon.
The first day.
First, the aroma. It has a strong but refreshing sake aroma.
Slightly effervescent when poured into a glass.
Cold sake
The taste is slightly stimulating, but not too much.
In the mouth, you can taste sweetness and bitterness with a hint of citrus freshness.
The lingering aftertaste is a refreshing spiciness that spreads to the back of the throat, giving it a good balance.
Warmed to lukewarm.
The bitterness is more pronounced than when served cold.
The sweetness is well balanced even when lukewarm.
Day 2
The chili sensation has subsided a bit and the mouthfeel is smooth.
The balance of sweetness, bitterness, and sourness is still the same, and the complexity is still good.
Day 3
The chili flavor is gone, but it is still very fruity.
The bitterness has been reduced, and the slight sweetness and acidity are very refreshing.
ALPHA5 is still a delicious drink after a long time.

Thanks for your comment Kano.
I never thought of the idea of drinking heated sake because it tastes so good cold 💧.
But I see that Kano-san does too 😁.
It was nice to have it lukewarm and the acidity increased 😊.

Thanks for your comment Rehma.
I can never drink in a day, so I'm into trying to keep track of time 😁.
I always have the same impression 💧.
I hope you will try it again 😊.

Thank you for your comment, HinaHanaMama.
It's almost time to enjoy heated sake 🍶.
I love cold sake too, but I also experienced the pleasure of heated sake, which I didn't know about when I first drank it 🎵.
I see you bought some libations 😊.

Good evening, ma-ki-san. Just last week I went to buy a bottle of ALPHA3 to warm up, but I was pushed to buy the ALPHA3 because it was the last one to be fired up. Your review of the changes in temperature and number of days was very helpful. I knew I had to buy it...

Thank you Jay & Nobby for your comments.
I see you already enjoyed the heated sake 🎵.
Yes, I did. It was quite warm yesterday, so we decided to just keep it cold 💧.
Heated sake is really good when it gets really cold 😊.

Hi ma-ki-san!
I had a bottle of "Kaze no Mori Kankan SAKE no Tanken" at an off-line meeting the other day and it was infinitely drinkable 😁.
I love the cold weather, so I always have a set of 3 things: hot pot, hot sake, and a local specialty, mizuyokan 🤣.

Thank you for your comment, Gyve.
I saw that you were drinking at the offline meeting 🎵
It's been a really long time since I've had it, but it can be drunk endlessly✨.
I'm curious about the local specialty water yokan 😲.
