Utsunomiya Lunchtime Drinking (2)
We decided to drink the same sake from the second bottle, and the next one chosen was Kurumasaka, which was described as "a ginjo sake that goes well with fish", so we had to try this one 😊.
This was our second bottle of Wakayama sake, as we had only had Kido in Wakayama! It was a drink that made the fish taste even better 😋.
We finished off fresh with Imadaiji Tsubakuro! Three light afternoon drinks for two people was probably just right, just not enough to drink!
Before leaving the restaurant and moving on, I took another peek at the event plaza, and this time I saw a two-shot of Hollimon and Miyasako! Nobby took a bunch of pictures and sent them to my daughter and she asked, "What if I don't like either of them?" I got the reply 🤣.
After that, we walked to Futarasan Shrine to eat, and saw a Tochigi Pro Wrestling match at the outdoor plaza! I watched the match for a while!
Furthermore, the Korea 🇰🇷 festival was held at the plaza on Orion Street! It was a day when I felt the excitement of Utsunomiya with so many events and people gathered in various places 😊.
I decided to take it easy and walk the 7km to home. However, I was a little tired with 2km to go 💦I decided to take a break at a yakitori restaurant that I had been curious about for a while 😚 but to my surprise it was fully booked even though it was Sunday 😳I will try again someday 😤.

Hi Jay & Nobby 😀
Last summer, after walking the Kumano Kodo trail in Wakayama Prefecture, I had a bottle of Kurumazaka at an izakaya in front of the station 😀.
At the time, I didn't know anything about sake and the owner recommended it to me and I remember it was delicious 😀.

We haven't been to Wakayama yet😅Kumano Kodo is one of the places we would like to visit 😌, as the name suggests it was a great one for sushi drinking 🤗.

Hi Jay & Nobby 🐦.
I'm so glad you had a great day at the event 😳Utsunomiya is so much more urban than my home town 👊👊 I got punched in the face 😆.
Happy to drink while the sun is high 😊.

Good morning 🤩.
I like the idea of having a lunchtime drink at a festival 🤩.
I've been to Oktoberfest, but never sake 😅It's fun to discover bars and events on a walk 😅...

Hi Koizo 😃
The lunchtime drink is at a sushi restaurant that has nothing to do with the festival😅but I just enjoyed the atmosphere of the event 🤗.
