YOMOYAMA NAGANO in Osaka21
Iwanami's booth.
All brands were new to me.
Iwanami is a long-loved standard sake in Matsumoto City. It seems they have their hands full mainly with local brands.
Iwanami Junmai Daiginjo
A well-balanced, slightly sweet and umami taste. A bit of bitterness comes later. It has a rich and mellow flavor for a junmai daiginjo. Delicious.
Iwanami Junmai Ginjyo Nama Genjyo Unrefined
Fruity and rich flavor, with a slight nutty taste.
Iwanami Miroku Junmai Sake
Clear, but with a strong umami taste, it is somewhere between a light-bodied orthodox sake such as Kubota and a rustic sake such as Homei.
It has a strong emphasis on pop flavor, and has a rich, mellow feel to it.
