I worked most of the year end and new year, so I am now on winter break. Today is my planned trip to Kyushu 🚗. The first day we went to Kumamoto City. We went to a restaurant where we could drink local sake and eat local cuisine. The first cup was a sake called Hibari made by the Tsujun Sake Brewery in Yamato-cho, Kumamoto Prefecture 🍶. The rice is polished to 65%. The rice is grown in Yamato Town. The aroma is not strong, and when you take a sip, it goes down smoothly, then it finishes with a bitter taste. It goes well with strong dishes. The entrée is steamed deep-fried spicy lotus root and clams with butter.

Good morning, Jay & Nobby 😃. I never had a chance to drink Kumamoto sake 🍶 so I enjoyed it very much 😙. I'm all tapped out for the entrée that I can't have unless I'm traveling 😆.

Alcoholic beverages that have divided opinion I'm for it. It's a bit old-fashioned, but you can taste the rice and it's good.
