Shin Tsuchida Princess Sally
A very mellow aroma hits the nose. The aroma is surprisingly fermented, yet sweet and mysterious.
I was so impressed by the taste that I was pleasantly surprised to find it spreading on my palate.
It has a strong sweetness similar to that of amazake or undiluted plum wine, but there is none of the difficulty associated with mellow alcohol, and it goes down your throat without a hitch.
However, because the sake itself is so delicious, it is difficult to find dishes to pair it with. This time I had it with fugu (blowfish), but it didn't go well with tetsusashi.
As the label on the back of the bottle says, it is best with strong flavored dishes. It goes very well with yukke.

Wait, it goes soooo well with meat!
I'm having it with Kentucky today, and it's great, complementing both flavors wonderfully. Sake goes with Kentucky Fried Chicken? Why?
