禊萩(養殖)
The 39th sake brewery in Gifu Prefecture.
This is the main brand of Kikukawa Corporation, located in Unuma-juku, Kakamigahara City.
Misoni Hagi, whose goal is to drink representative brands of sake breweries in Gifu Prefecture, went around liquor stores looking for Kikukawa, a local sake of Kakamigahara City, but could not find it.
When he inquired directly to the brewery, he was told that it was not sold at the brewery, but at a commercial supermarket.
I was surprised to learn that it was not sold at the brewery, but at a supermarket in Takayama City. 2 liters for 700 yen, the lowest price for sake that I know of. I drank it while thinking, "Isn't this the cheapest sake I know of?
The aroma has a grain-like scent with a hint of alcohol.
The sweetness is moderate. It is a light and dry sake that is easy to drink. Can also be served warmed.
Although it is a mixture of sugar and acidity at a very low price, it is surprisingly drinkable. It may be good to drink this kind of sake once in a while.
