Purchased 2018 vintage.
Labeled like wine.
The price was over $3000 as I recall, so I had high expectations.
But.
I thought it would be mellowed by aging, but it had a strong alcohol taste, just like a shochu. It didn't change even after I left it for a while after opening the bottle.
It tasted bitter, and we couldn't taste the delicate flavor at all.
I was very disappointed because I imagined that the sake would mature and develop a mellow and rich flavor.
