Surprisingly, Yuki-Tsubaki was not registered as a brand name.
I fell in love with it on a trip to Niigata, but I thought I'd never find it... until I happened to find it in a chain of liquor stores about a 30 minute drive away😅.
First of all, it had a banana-like ginjo aroma that wafted out of the glass.
I was especially surprised that it went well with pork and vegetables stir-fried in a homemade soy sauce-based sauce!
It was the kind of sake you would want in between elegant sakes like Shinsei.
It was delicious!
