Earthy aromas for this junmai. Some sweet chestnut, mushrooms, rice bran, wholewheat bread and hints of overripe banana.
The palate is light, crisp, and dry, with a peculiar astringency. Very faint notes of dried fruits on top of the rice and chestnut flavours. Short, clean finish.
