We went to an izakaya in town to celebrate the renewal exam. I wondered if they had any sake, but they had Kitanokatsu, which I had never had before. I immediately tried it for the first time. I thought it might be too spicy with a 70% rice polishing ratio, but it was surprisingly easy to drink and tasted good enough for grilled meat. There was also a bottle of Ottersai, so I was happy to compare them.
The person from Nemuro said the limited edition sake was even better, so if you have a chance, try it.
