The super milestone of 1000 check-ins. And my last sake in Aizu was Yoshinogawa from Kitakata. This is not Yoshinogawa from Niigata. According to the master, 90% of Yoshinogawa is consumed in Kitakata. The initial aroma is fresh and sweet. When you put it in your mouth, you can taste the fresh sweetness with a hint of acidity. It is a refreshing and crisp sake that goes down your throat. I think it is my favorite sake among the ones I drank in Aizu. It was delicious 🍶✨️ The fourth picture is of the Yoshinokawa brewery in the center of Kitakata City. They are currently making only about 200 koku of sake.

Thank you, Manachie 🍶. I think you'll like Yoshinogawa because it's very light and refreshing. I bought 3 kinds of Aizu souvenirs from Gonoi-san and Aizu Chusho Fukunohana at the brewery and I'm drinking it now 😋.

Thank you @Mizuhashi😊. Fukushima sake is relatively easy to drink in Tokyo compared to sake west of Kansai, but it was a great harvest to be able to drink Yoshinogawa, which is not so easy to find 🍶.

Aizu Nishiki is located in Takago-cho, Kitakata City, a short distance from the city center of Kitakata. It is a sake made with Koshihikari🌾 produced in terraced rice paddies, limited to the Uekiya Hanpukai. The top aroma is slightly sweet. On the palate, it has a slight bitter taste that finishes with the sweetness of lightly muddled rice. It was delicious!

It was too far away to go to the brewery, but Aizu Sake Brewery's Aizu is located in Minami Aizu Town. In Tokyo, you sometimes see Yamanoi. The aroma is fruity on the nose. In the mouth, it has a clean sweetness and umami that is typical of daiginjo-style sake. The taste is elegant and finishes smoothly. It was quite delicious 🍶✨️

The master of the bar asked a young brewer at the Homare Sake Brewery to make this sake (specifying the yeast and sake quality). The initial aroma is fruity and sweet. I have not been told the details, but it is said that two types of yeast from Fukushima are used. It has a juicy sweetness with a hint of sourness in the mouth. It was quite delicious 🍶✨️ When I told the master that it didn't taste like Fukushima, he told me that even the brewer of Homare Sake Brewery told him that the quality of sake was totally different from ours. Even though it is a small batch, they have about 10 more cases in stock in four-pack bottles 😉. The master is a sake geek just like the rest of us sake drinkers, and he told us all about the sake of Fukushima 😊.

This is HIROKI's Aizan 🍶. I have often seen black and white HIROKI in Tokyo, but this is my first time to try Aizan HIROKI. The aroma on the nose is elegant and sweet. When you sip it, you can taste the elegant sweetness and mild umami that is typical of Aizan, but I think it is more refreshing than the white Tobiroki. It was delicious 🍶✨️ The fourth picture is a snow-capped Mt. Dainichidake (Bandai Asahi National Park) seen from the old Miya River flowing through Aizu Sakashita.

The last night in Aizuwakamatsu was spent at the sake bar Sake Iki Shin Garyu. Uekiya Hanpukai limited edition Toyokuni🍶. The sake is made with rice from Aizu Sakashita-machi and the label is made with cotton as well. Actually, I just realized that there are two Toyokuni breweries in Fukushima, one in Aizu Sakashita-cho and the other in Furudono-machi on Naka-dori. I had no idea😅. The first aroma is slightly sweet with a hint of rice. It was quite delicious 🙂. It was quite delicious 🍶. The third picture is of the Toyokuni Shuzo brewery in Aizu Sakashita-cho. It is directly across the street from the Gonoi Sake Brewery.

Slightly slightly carbonated. The moment I put it in my mouth, the aroma was like plum wine. I have never had this type before. It was easy to drink, and I liked it.
