It's been a while since I've been out drinking sake. My family told me to go out for dinner if I was going to be late. (When you go skiing, even 17:00 is considered "late".) If I go to the hot spring resort area, I won't be able to go home normally (=take a cab home), so I went to the station today. I ordered at "Minatoya Tousuke", which I had used many times as an errand, but I hadn't used it recently. It came in a large buckwheat noodle cup that could hold one cup of sake, but it was over in a flash. The snacks were iburigakko cheese, tochi-age (with kagura nanban), and oden. Sake is made from rice, and although I am keenly aware that sake is sweet because it is made from rice, I can drink it without any stickiness at all, and it is very easy to drink. It's so versatile. I will continue to choose it for my errands.
