The other day, my dad and I went to my parents' house for a long time. We started with beer 🍺, then I brought the rest of the "True White" that I had opened the other day, and my dad brought out some sake that had been laying around for a while, so we had a drink here 🍶. Kansai Junmai Sake. I often drink "Kansai Kaisen" hot, but this is my first time to drink Junmai Sake 🤔. Clean and beautiful rice aroma, rounded flavor and refreshingly pleasant aftertaste, probably due to the cellaring. The taste is different from Katayama's other brand "Gassa Junmai Ginjo", but it's hard to tell how much of it is due to the aging process 💦. However, I have a feeling it would make a beautiful hot sake when heated. By the way, when I gave "True White" to my father, he said it was too sweet, but when my mother drank it, she said it was delicious 😁. The fourth picture is from a trip to Atsuta Jingu Shrine in Nagoya, where I lived for two years after graduating from high school, to purify my car and eat Hitsumabushi. [It was my first time to eat at "Unagi Owada" because "Atsuta Horaiken" was closed, but the sauce was much lighter than this one.

Hi Gyve 😊 I like the idea of having a sakishibu with your father. I wonder if our parents' generation is still the dry type of Japanese sake? By the way, Gyve, you are very dynamic to drive to Atsuta Jingu Shrine 😳.

Hi, Jive. I hope you had a good time with your father 🎵. I'm sure it will go well with your meal ✨I'm sure your father likes dry sake 😊. Atsuta Houraiken was my first hitsu-mabushi and I miss it.

Hi Jive 🐦. I like the name of this sake! Kansai in Fukui 😆👍It's going to be a little cooler and you can taste more of the sake you laid down: ❣️ Your father must have been pleased 😊. I learned the name because I'm a big fan of Hitsumabushi 😁.

Hi Maru-san! My father loves Ishikawa's "Yamahai dry sake" so he doesn't like the newer modern sake 💦. When we switch cars, it's customary to have him purify the car on the way to Atsuta Shrine to get used to driving on highways and urban roads 😁.

Hi, ma-ki-chan! My father often invites me to dinner, but the timing is never right, so this was a good opportunity for me ✨ I also had my first Hitsumabushi at Atsuta Houraiken, but it was closed, so I'm new to the area.

Hello Pon-chan ☀☀☀☀. The name of the restaurant is influenced by Fushimi and Nada, so it has deep connections with the Kansai region 😁. There is another restaurant called Benten near Atsuta Jingu Shrine 😁. [It's a little more budget-friendly than Atsuta Houraiken.

Good morning, Jay & Nobby ☀☀☀. My dad has always been a "dry" drinker, so I hear alcohol goes well with him 😁. However, my dad is a heavy drinker and alcohol all-rounder, so it's probably a very definite chanpon if you drink with him 💦.
