Saturday out for a drink①
Saturday in the middle of 3 consecutive holidays☀️ decided to walk to Utsunomiya station for walking 😊.
Of course, since we were going to the station area, we had a lot of fun on the way 🤗It's about 7 km from my house to the station, so we left around 3:00 p.m., counting backwards from the time of dinner!
It took us about an hour of fast walking while looking at the cityscape💦We decided to go for a light meal of dumplings and beer! I looked in at Karan near the prefectural office, but there was a long line 😓.
I gave up and went to Karan in front of the station! There was a line for a while, but the turnover was fast and we were able to get in right away. We had the same grilled gyoza and sui-gyoza and beer 🍺.
The soba noodles restaurant opened at 6:30, so we decided to stop by one more restaurant in between! The first restaurant we went to was full, so we went to another yakitori restaurant! After adjusting the time with yakitori platter and highballs, we finally arrived at Soba Restaurant Kura, which we had always wanted to visit, just before the restaurant opened👍.
The first sake I chose was Fudo no Choharashi🤗The owner kindly explains about the sake and pours it for me. It was a delicious dry sake with a fruity mouthfeel that we loved 😋.
And the night was long...

We were also curious about the red fudo ‼️ It was the first thing that jumped out at us in the store and we decided immediately 👍It was fruity and tasty without being super spicy 😋 I highly recommend it 😄.

Yes, it was a very nice soba restaurant! Even in a crowded restaurant, the owner was calm and courteous to us ☺️ It was a buckwheat noodle shop that we decided to revisit 🤗.

Yes, I know! Kura-san is a short walk from the sanctuary and I thought it would be a good place to end the prefects' meeting, but it closes at 10pm now 🥲 but it's still possible!
