I got another soga this year - and 3 bottles. And we got 3 bottles of soga this year!
The first one is Domaine Lot of Numérosis at the end of January. My uncle in Nagano sent it to me😍.
The aroma is mild and Kimoto lactic acidic, similar to Niimasa. If I had to guess the difference, I'd say this one is sweeter and the Niimasa is more acidic 🤔.
When I drank it yesterday while playing mahjong, I felt a strong astringency, but it was probably due to the sake I drank before that.
Today, it has a sweetness like muscat, and it goes through the nose nicely.
I think it's because of the presence of the full-bodied rice accent in the final stages, so it's beautiful but not too smooth.
I know it is said that it does not pander to wine, but I think it has a unique position in terms of balance and point of attack in terms of Western-style wines.
Also, I've been buying a lot of sake recently, and as a result, I have a huge inventory, so I'm going to respect takeshon and make March Pre-Sake Month ٩٩_( 'omega')و.
