I've been in Kyoto since this morning and paid a little overdue visit to Hatsu-mairi (New Year's visit to Kyoto).
It's hot in Kyoto today💦.
After walking around, I arrived at a restaurant I wanted to have lunch at, "Yamiami", which is a derivative of "Shomin", and had a drink with them 🍶.
Kido Junmai Sake.
Clean rice aroma, soft umami with a clean mouthfeel, and a gentle aftertaste with sweetness.
The entrée is [striped horse mackerel sashimi] 🐟️
After this, we will have a series of sake tasting in Kyoto in early spring.
It was too hot and thirsty, so we started with beer 🍺 and the restaurant's specialty [quiche] 😋.
