This time it is Miyamanishiki Junmai Junmai Unrefined Nama-shu from Morishima.
This sake is from Hitachi City, Ibaraki Prefecture.
I drank Morishima's Omachi at an off-line meeting last time and it was so delicious that I wanted to drink it at home.
This is a Miyamanishiki limited edition Miyamanishiki Nama-no-Nazake for April.
It is served cold.
It has a slightly greenish appearance with fine bubbles.
The nose has aromas of apples, pears, and blue melon.
On the palate, the fresh aroma of melon with a hint of greenness is followed by a rich flavor of rice with a hint of malted rice, and the taste is quietly tightened by the fresh bitterness of the slight effervescence.
It is a refreshing umami sake with a cool Miyamanishiki feeling and plenty of rice flavor.
I would like to drink hi-ire sake as it is getting a bit heavy season for nama-shu 💕.
We finally made it to the middle of June this year.
I'm looking at the beautiful hydrangeas, and I think this might be the hardest time of the year since it's the beginning of the hottest day of the year.
I wanted to drink right away today, so I'm going to take out sushi after work and have a relaxing weekend drink.
I want to stay here until the end of the year 🍶💤.
