Amano Sake Junmai Ginjo
A monk's sake made at temples in the Muromachi period (1336-1573).
Bodai-zumi at Shorogaku-ji Temple was a monk's monk's sake called Nanto Morohaku.
Amano-shu is also a monk's monk's sake from Kongoji Temple on Mt.
After reading Rafa papa's review, I bought a bottle of Amano-shu that looked easy to drink 😁.
I must drink some local Osaka sake once in a while... 🤣
I'll have it cold.
The aroma is mild, but it has an aged aroma like some kind of honey.
There is a slightly classical acidity on the palate, and a matured-like umami spreads gradually, leaving a mild sweetness behind.
The spiciness and bitterness are not felt much throughout.
It is said that around this time last year, Tsurube-san visited the brewery on "Tsurube no Kazoku ni Toast to the Family" and introduced the sake.
There is also an Amano-shu (monk's house sake) made by the traditional method that Hideyoshi Toyotomi used to drink at that time, and it has a sake level of -110 😁 I would like to try that next time 👍.
Ingredients: Rice (domestic), Rice Koji (domestic)
Polishing ratio: 60
Alcohol content: 16% to 17%.
