I went to Abeno's other sake shop with Mr. Umaumai!
While Meidi-ya's atmosphere is not so friendly, this is an easy to enter restaurant.
I don't think there are many places where you can find a standing bar where the music of Hysta is played inside the bar.
I've been wanting to go there for a long time, but the owner told me that the stock was the lowest in the past due to the anniversary event 😅.
I was shown the menu for the anniversary event and the lineup was superb, including the Jyushidai and Shinmasa hanpukai 😍
The first drink was the much talked about new brand Jyuseki.
They are trying to start their own brand to survive after the end of the contract with Gekkeikan to sell their vats.
I've seen this pattern a lot lately 🤔Taga in Shiga and Kamosho Brewery in Hyogo are also in the same boat.

Kyoto sake made with Kyoto rice, water, and yeast.
It seems to be made under the concept of a food sake, but it is also very tasty on its own. Seemed a bit cloudy.
Muscat flavor? I have a feeling this flavor will be a breakout hit in the future.
