Asano Sake Shop was holding a one-day-only Echigo Tsurukame fair, and they had wine yeast nigori on the lineup❗But I gave up on buying it because I didn't have a chance to go there. I can't underestimate Yamaya😅.
It's a sweet and sour sake with strong acidity. It's quite light, low alcohol and easy to drink. It also has a unique nuance common to wine yeast sake.
The description says "nigori" (cloudy), but it is more like "orikara" (cloudy) or "nigori" (lightly cloudy).
The rice used is Yamadanishiki, Gohyakumangoku, and Koshibuki. According to the SNS of Asano Sake Brewery, it is unfiltered.
