幻（まぼろし）の赤箱です。
幻は、一升瓶が800円だった昭和47年に8000円！で売り出した、日本酒業界的にもエポックメイキングなお酒😳
外観はクリアクリスタル。
香りは華やかで爽やかさもある非常にフルーティーな吟醸香。
黄色いリンゴや若い洋梨、熟した青いメロンの香りが豊かに、淑やかに薫る。
甘さと爽やかさのバランスがとても良い。
白玉団子のような綺麗な米香も。
サラトロッとしたテクスチャ。
香りと同様リンゴやメロン、洋梨のような爽やかな果実味のある甘味がふわっと広がる。
全く角のないシルクのようなソフトできめ細やかな酸味がごく優しく流れていく。
派手過ぎない心地良いフルーティーさの中で、綺麗な米の旨味も感じさせながらキレていく。
キレは良く、スーッと糸を引くような長い余韻は、目を瞑って堪能したくなる。
フルーティー好きには堪らない、それでいてやり過ぎ感のない上質な香り。
果実味のある甘味とさらふわっとしたきめ細やかな酸味、綺麗な旨味がバランス良く整った味わい。
それらが一切のノイズのない美しさで堪能できる。

It depends on the area, but nowadays the red box is not that rare and you can find it if you look for it (although it is a little pricier than usual sake) 😄.
