Abura-age (deep-fried tofu) from Tochio after a long time
I would like to drink Tochio's "Echino Katora" or "Koshinotsuru" sake, but there is no sake available, so I will drink Niigata Prefecture's sake, Shinbata's Kinmasu with a vermilion label.
This is the first sake brewery I have ever had.
I bought it the other day at an in-person sale at NESPAS Niigata-kan, Niigata Prefecture's antenna store in Omotesando.
I was told that it is brewed using the "Hashira Shochu" technique, in which rice shochu is added.
It has a savory aroma, cacao?
It has a full-bodied flavor, but it is refreshing.
After all, the aroma is unique and attractive.
People who are addicted to it will be addicted to it.
Tochio's deep-fried tofu is wonderful.
Crispy and juicy.
Tonight, I cut the deep-fried tofu in half horizontally, put natto and green onion inside, sprinkled dried bonito flakes on top, garnished with grated ginger, and drizzled dashi broth and soy sauce.
Long live Tochio's abura-age 🙌✨👍
Definitely in my top 5 best snacks for sake.
