My wife and I went out for yakiniku for lunch on my birthday, and I chose Tanaka Rokugo as my companion sake.
It's an all-rounder sake that can be used as a toast or a mid-meal drink, not too spicy or too sweet.
It has a grape-like aroma on both the nose and palate, and although it is not gassy, it is characterized by a firm sweetness and umami, making it a good match for both meat and fish dishes.
It has a nice bitterness at the end so you won't get tired of drinking it 😋.
After returning home, my wife surprised me with a tiramisu of her own making 😍.
