I spent a relaxing day at home today.
Yesterday we drank outside, so today is the continuation of Sakusama's drinking contest!
So, today we were drinking SAKUSAI by Shimizu Seizaburo Shoten!
This time it was Kami no Ho!
I had been looking forward to this comparison since the last time I drank Kami no Ho before I started my own sake brewery!
So without further ado, let's enjoy the sake!
The first day
First, the aroma. It has a refreshing citrus aroma.
In the mouth, you can taste sweetness, but also a low-irritant soft bitterness and a complex flavor like richness.
Compared to Aizan, it gives a refreshing impression.
The lingering bitterness is short and not too strong.
It is a well-balanced sake with a modest flamboyance.
The second day
The refreshing fruity sweetness is quickly followed by a spiciness that spreads to the back of the throat.
The lingering aftertaste is not too strong and bitter, with a hint of sweetness behind the bitterness.
Fourth day
The sweetness seems to have increased.
The complex taste like a full-bodied taste comes along with it, so it is not too sweet, and a little bit salty.
The lingering bitterness finishes off the taste, and today's wine is also well rounded.
The difference in the rice used to make the sake was so great, but both were so delicious that I really felt that the sake brewers are amazing!

Saku-sama is one of the sakes that got me hooked on the swamp, but even with that out of the way, they are all always delicious and I love them 😋.
