ChokkiRokuonami Junmai-original Sake
19 degrees, 70%.
Yoro Sake Brewery in Yamanashi Prefecture has a stylish cafe in an old house style building. You can buy a bottle of this Rokunami at the cafe.
It's a bit pricey at 1,800 yen (720ml), but after coming all the way here, I couldn't resist.
I want to create a small wave of excitement for the sixth head of the brewery with this sake.
How is this sake made with this in mind?
At the first sip, it has a very unique acidity. It's a very unique acidity, and it's an interesting combination of a heavier sake and a spicy one. It's not my favorite sake, but I could tell that this brewery has a lot of confidence in this sake.
However, I am still disappointed in the high price of 1,800 yen. It's 70% polished and there is no indication of rice. The second purchase of this sake is not possible for a second time for 1,300 yen at the most.
This brewery has had a history of
Junmai-shu is used to describe what is not Junmai-shu
If the product does not meet the standard brewing characteristics, it is described as a honjozo
Even if you only use part of Miyamanishiki, you can still use only Miyamanishiki
Fire-extinguished sake is described as a raw sake
75% milled rice is now 65%.
If the brewery doesn't come up with more ways to win the hearts and minds of its customers, the sixth-generation head of the brewery's business, who is known for his ability to create waves, will only cause a ripple in the opposite direction.
