This is a sake that was given to me. Thank you very much for the good sake! Ohga Sake Brewery is said to be the oldest sake brewery in Fukuoka Prefecture. The brewery was founded in 1673. The label says it is recommended for cold sake to slightly warmer temperatures, so it is all things to all people. When I drank it cold, the taste of melon and rice was quite strong, and I liked it a little warmer, as the sweetness became stronger. It is a good sake that is carefully made without the sting of alcohol. I think it would be good with Japanese food such as simmered dishes.
