According to what the owner told me, the rice used here was grown by Kiyoshi Tanaka, a rice farmer who grows NIPPA rice in an area called Shinba (Nippa) in Tochigi City, Tochigi Prefecture.
And this Mr. Kiyoshi Tanaka.
Mr. Kiyoshi Tanaka is the model for Tonomura, a character in Jun Ikeido's famous "Shitamachi Rocket".
If he spoke so passionately, how could I not be interested in this book? So I decided to purchase the book.
The taste is condensed yet lightly sweet and tasty, with a hint of sourness. My favorite type.
Personally, I felt it tasted better when I let it come to room temperature, as it became softer.
When you know the producer's face and the story behind it, it tastes even better, and you will be more and more addicted to it. I also look forward to seeing the same Iinuma Meizo.
