Hanazake Shuzo has a history of over 120 years in the town of Shobara, in the northern part of the prefecture.
I once tasted "Dobu," an active junmai sake with a "beware of spewing" freshness (of course I spewed), and I remember that it had a great rice flavor 😊.
This standard junmai sake, the quality of the sake is umami and slightly acidic when you drink it, the aftertaste is classic with a little bit of a habitual taste. When warmed up to lukewarm, the habit is softened and the spiciness and acidity make it a great choice 😁.
