Shinmasa's new year's freshly squeezed sake is released with a different color this year. The white on white snake is quite auspicious.
The aroma is mild and fresh. The aroma is mild and fresh, with a hint of Shinsei acidity, but it is almost odorless.
When you put it on your tongue, you are greeted with a strong acidity, but its youthful greenness is noticeable. It has the feel of an R-type new sake (my personal opinion), but without the round gourd flavor that comes with maturity. I was happy to drink this strain for the first time in a long time.
A very upbeat bottle to welcome the New Year with a bright and sunny feeling. Please try it.
