Oden-Den (Oden-Den)" is a sake created by about 30 members of the "Tanada de Jizake wo Tsukuru Kai" (Association for brewing local sake in terraced rice paddies), in an effort to brew sake using pesticide-free rice and carefully selected water to their satisfaction. The name "Oden-den" comes from the fact that Sanakawachi Village, where this rice is produced, used to produce rice that was offered to Lord Hachisuka, the lord of the Awa Clan, during the Edo period. It is a fanatical sake even in Tokushima. For now, drink it cold. The aroma is mild. Fruitiness on the palate. After the sweetness and umami, the bitterness, spiciness, and alkalinity come into play. I like it with rape blossoms, orange, soy sauce, and tsukudani (raw wakame seaweed stems). It's good. I'll try it warmed.
