A new product from Chikumanishiki Brewery.
I found out about it through a follow & retweet campaign on their official account on X (formerly: Twitter).
Yes, I applied but missed it, so I bought it.
Aroma.
Mainly sour aroma.
Rice huskiness. A hint of soy sauce. Sense of alcohol.
Mouthfeel
You can enjoy the rich taste of rice on the palate.
However, the spiciness comes soon after.
The sharpness of the taste is good.
Summary
A delicious umami-ish dry food sake.
The sake is in the positive range, although the sake meter is undisclosed.
The overall taste is clean and refreshing.
Personally, I enjoyed it more when I just sipped it rather than rolling it around on my tongue!
It has a nice sharpness and makes you want to have something to eat when you drink it!
This is a summer-only sake from Chikumanishiki Shuzo.
The bottle design is stylish and to my liking.
