After the big event, I finally have the time to think about keeping track of the drinks I've had at home 🙌.
Today I opened a bottle of Saka, a sake from Saga.
When I searched for the sake brewery to register it with Sake-no-Wawa but could not find the brewery, I checked the brewery's website and found that the company, Window Plum Brewing Company, which was also registered with Sake-no-Wawa, changed its name to Saka Brewing Company in November last year.
Although the company name has just changed, it is a long-established sake brewery that has been in business for over 330 years.
This "Saka" has a bitter taste that lingers on the palate as soon as it enters the mouth.
Just the other day, I had a chance to taste "Nabeshima," also from Saga, and it was a different sake from "Nabeshima," which was easy to drink, with a strong flavor that developed from strength to weakness.
