It's still hot even though we passed Obon 🫠 Today, the day passed without me leaving the air-conditioned room 😅 I had to inject some dry sake to cheer up my body 😅.
Unlike my parents, my daughter travels all over Japan and brought me a souvenir from Fukuoka (she was in Hokkaido before the Bon Festival) 😍.
It has a beautiful clarity like clear water. When poured into a glass, a refreshing ginjo aroma of green apple and pear wafts up, and on the palate, a mild sweetness and a hint of acidity. The light but well-defined flavor has a pleasant sharpness that quickly fades away, and the short aftertaste invites the next sip. This is a bottle to be enjoyed on a summer evening with a cool breeze. However, it is still hot after the sun goes down, so I drink it with a breeze from the air conditioner.
