The last drink of 2020 was Awakumo from Kisugi Shuzo.
It is a rare junmai sparkling sake.
You can feel the sweetness of the rice that only pure rice can provide, but there is also the gorgeousness of the bubbles.
I love the moment when you put it in your mouth and keep it there for a little while...feeling the bubbles and then gradually feeling the taste of the rice.
It is perfect for celebrations and other special occasions.
We had it with soba noodles while watching Red and White.
It is very easy to drink, so you need to be careful not to drink too much ^ ^.
