I chose this sake to go with the grilled salt-crusted Akinata fish. The sake is made with water from Mt. Funagata and organic rice "Kura-no-Hana" produced in the prefecture. I happened to see this sake while strolling around Yoshioka, Yamato Town in July. It was the first time I had seen this sake. The store where I bought it, Kurodaya, has been in business since the middle of the Edo period. I first drank it cold, but found it too strong, so I started drinking it warmed. The aroma became softer and easier to drink. It was delicious. Nanatsumori is the generic name for a group of seven small mountains that form a unique landscape.
