To commemorate the opening of the Shinkansen bullet train, we are participating in the 2nd Bishu Competition 2024 in Fukui this year 😁.
I was told that the sake tasting would feature sake that is hard to find in Fukui, so I joined the event after working the night shift.
First of all, I found a sake that I was interested in, so I opened the event with a drink 🍶.
Fukuwagura Junmai Ginjo
［The sake brewery owned by Imuraya, famous for its Adzuki Bar, so let's see what it's like!
A fruity rice aroma similar to muscat, a smooth, slightly thickened mouthfeel, a sweet umami reminiscent of syrup, a sharp finish, and a sweet aftertaste.
You can feel the brewing quality of an ice cream maker.
I think this may be the first sake I've ever tasted that has this much molassesiness.
