I got some cod sprouts from a relative, so I made tempura and drank a glass of 🌸. I wanted to drink some spring sake, but I didn't have any in stock, so I drank this one that my father-in-law gave me at New Year's 🍶.
Local Fukui sake "Ippongi" (spicy and refreshing junmai ginjo)
Sweet aroma of rice, full mouthfeel with a hint of sweetness, crisp and refreshing with a short aftertaste, it lives up to its name ✨.
As you get used to drinking it, the sweetness fades and the umami and refreshing sharpness continue 😁.
The spicy-soup type went perfectly with the deliciousness of the seasonal cod roe and the refreshing bitterness that is typical of spring 🌸🍃.
