This year I am exempted from the New Year's Eve night shift, which I have worked for the past two years in a row, and it has been a while since I have participated in a countdown outside of the workplace to welcome the New Year 🥰.
I went downtown for a New Year's Eve party with a friend whose schedule I couldn't quite fit in.
First, we went to [Shima & Coffee & Sake], which had announced a [small restaurant event] 🚶.
They have a wide selection of drunken drinks, so let's start with this one 🍶!
We'll start with this one 🍶 "Takachiyo, Shin Takachiyo, A-TYPE, broken".
I've drunk Kanji and Hiragana, but this is my first time to drink Katakana. ✨️ [HinaHanaMama], or [TakachiyoMama], made me want to drink "Takachiyo" 🤩.
The aroma is like a mellow pear, the mouthfeel is slightly gassy, and the taste is juicy, sweet, and umami, with a mildly sweet aftertaste.
Oh, this is badass, I love this one!
The dish was "soaked Chinese cabbage with grated radish and baby sardines" (🍴), which was served to customers who made reservations in advance.
