Nakasendo Walking Day 1 (1)
We continued from Kiso Fukushima where we walked in the spring!
On this day, we walked 9.8km👣 from Fukushima-juku to Miyanokoshi-juku.
As soon as we started walking, we arrived at Nanasho Sake Brewery!
Since I couldn't walk with it, I was only allowed to taste it!
The system allows two tastings for 100 yen!
I tried four!
Ginjyo Nama Nama Shuzo Kakushi (hidden in the storehouse)!
Very sweet and juicy, with a round taste due to its one year aging. It was my favorite ♡♡♡.
Ginjo-shu
Sweet and juicy. Slightly sweet and tasty, with a clean, crisp taste hidden in the brewery.
Junmai sake Miyamanishiki
Sweet and fruity, refreshing. Next favorite ♡♡♡♡
Junmai Ginjo Yamae Nishiki
Slightly fruity, the lightest of the four.
I bought a bottle of miso made by the brewery as a souvenir. It's delicious with chilled tofu. ❣️
He told us many things about sake rice, such as that farmers who can no longer produce rice are now producing it, and that Yamadanishiki is difficult to produce in this area, but Miyamanishiki is easy to make 🙏.
After this, we walked to Miyanokoshi Inn while looking at the mountains with autumn leaves 🍁.

Hey, Pon.
Good evening.
Walking along the Nakasendo is very healthy!
I hope you had a good time because the mountains are covered with autumn leaves and it's so hot this year.
It's also fun to visit local breweries, isn't it?

Good evening, Koizo!
We just walked along the road, but it was half fun and half hard work 😆 And it was hotter than I expected 💦I was sweating a lot, but it was easy on my body👍There are many sake breweries along the road, so I enjoyed it instead of taking a break...

Good evening, Pon-chan 😃.
It looks like you can walk while enjoying the colors of the mountains 🍁and the cityscape 🤗and the light tasting at the beginning of the walk looks invigorating 😄Well, but walking 10-20km everyday is hard 💦We would like to walk it someday too ☺️

Hi Jay & Nobby😊.
We were lucky because today's rain made us wonder if it would fall 🍁✌️ there are many sake breweries in the inn towns, so we're walking towards them 😆 my husband is appalled 💦.
One of these days I'll take the Nikko Kaido 😁👣.

Hi Pon, ☀️
I'm so glad you went on the rest of the Kiso road 👣.
It must have been hot this day, unlike the cold weather of the last few days 🥵I was just in Nagano too 😄.
Nice to sample two for 100 yen 😋Tough but fun trip 😉♪
