I bought this Kyoto souvenir 🍾 from my childhood friend's liquor store.
I thought it would be a good idea to buy sake at the liquor store, but since my main business is a soy sauce shop, I thought it was okay 🧂After having a drink outside, they let me stop by their house and have one 😁I opened a bottle of the souvenir.
I haven't looked up the origin of this brewery, but it was located on the same site as Kyodo Sake Brewery. As you can see in the photo, there are two nameplates hanging on the wall. This place used to be the former residence of the Satsuma clan. There was a stone pillar like that to the right of the telegraph pole 🧐.
The taste is...
It is quite sweet with an accentuated sourness but also sharp. The sweetness has a profound feeling. It is very easy to drink, just as it is reputed to be 😋.

Hi Masaaki😄
100 checks before you know it! I didn't notice 😓Thank you ❗️
The much talked about Juishi is very tasty 😆 I heard that the production is very small, so it was very precious.

Hi ma-ki-😃
100 before you know it, thank you 😊I realized that I often drink sake from Tohoku when I went in search of good sake 🧐.
It's a pity that it's hard to capture beautiful Fuji in summer because the gas covers it: ❗️

ellie, congratulations on your 100th check-in 🎉!
The brewery was on the verge of being shut down when the contract was cut by a major company, but the toji from the major company moved in and together they rebuilt the brewery. We are celebrating with sake from this historic place and brewery!

Hi Pon 😃Thank you for noticing 😊.
I looked it up and found out that it was originally a subcontractor of a big company? It was like a subcontractor to a major company 🧐I learned that there is such a form of subcontracting. ‼️
There have been a lot of stories about big companies reviving warehouses in recent years.

Really! I'm glad to hear that, because subcontracting is something that can't be helped if it's cut off. Shiga was not a subcontractor either, but I am glad that there is a warehouse that was revived by a person from the same major company 😊.
Sorry for repeating myself 🙇.

On the way from Sugaura to Saba Kaido, we stopped at Yoshida Sake Brewery, maybe it's there 🫢I saw an article about it 😄.

I happened to find this brewery on the road! I'll open a bottle next time 🎵
I'm interested in the Mie Prefecture brewery that Imuraya, the azuki bar company, has restored 🤔.
