Business trip to Kochi. The market was as bustling as it was 10 years ago. The system is a large food court. I couldn't find a place that sold sake by weight, so I bought a small bottle of 300 ml. I thought the selection of sake would be limited, but as one would expect from a sake brewer, Kochi is a place where sake is made in Japan. The first one was Minami Beitatsurae. The rice used was Matsuyama Mitsui, a rare edible rice from Ehime, and the taste was spicy and delicious. We served it with grilled bonito and jakoten (fish cake).

Choroki-san. Hirome Market was great. The real bonito was great. The depth of Kochi sake was also great.
