This is the first spring sake I've encountered, so it's the one I immediately decided to purchase.
I took a sip, looking forward to seeing how the bitterness typical of Banshu Ikkenten would come out.
Wow, it has an aromatic aroma, and a light, deep umami and slight sweetness, but it is also moderately spicy.
It has none of the sweetness that is often found in spring sake, but it has a light, refreshing freshness. ❣️
It has a cute flavor, but it still retains its boldness at the end.
It's delicious and I really like Banshu Issen. ❤️
For my entrée, I had the teriyaki yellowtail kama. Delicious 😋.
