Green label of Zanso Hourai. The aroma is almost imperceptible. Yes, yes, it is spicy. Firmly spicy. The faint glimmer of sweetness in the attack is also good. It is like a sake version of green gum. It's like taking a forest bath. Recently, I have come to like the expression "dry" or "spicy" more and more. I interpret this to mean that it is not pungent. I think it means "dry" in a relative sense to sake with a strong sweet taste. Isn't it a wonderful and very Japanese expression when you think about it that way?

Good morning, Jay & Nobby. It was an attractive sake with a clear, refreshing dry taste with a hint of junmai-like umami and sweetness that made it hard to find the right moment to stop. A little bit of two or three different kinds to keep the balance is ideal 😌.
