Sawaya Matsumotte is sometimes drunk at izakaya (Japanese style pubs), but this is the second time I've bought it to drink at home. In conclusion, it was a great product that made me think that I should drink it at home from now on, even though it is delicious but for some reason I never bought it!
It's delicious! It is one of the most delicious drinks I have had recently, so much so that I couldn't help but roar at the moment I took a sip!
The first sip has a strong fizzy feeling and is therefore dry. However, it has a light nigori flavor, and the subtle melon aroma gives it a moderate fruity taste. The bitterness is not so much, and the sharpness is also quite good, making it a great food sake!
On the second day, the schwashiness subsided and a little sweetness appeared, and some bitterness became visible. The acidity comes and goes, and each time it comes and goes, you can taste sweetness, umami, bitterness, and other tastes, which is fun and very tasty!
To be honest, I could drink it all the time without thinking about it, so it ran out quickly... I think there was already nigori with other sake rice during the new sake season, so next year I will buy it as soon as I find it!
