I still had some from a brewery in Ueda in the fridge, so I opened it up🍶 The aroma? Honeyed apple?🍎 On the palate, it's fresh and fizzy, sweet and savory yet light and juicy. Finishes with just a hint of bitterness and a clean aftertaste. Still delicious🐢
The next day, I could taste a syrupy sweetness too, but it didn't feel heavy—just clean and easy to drink. Maybe the aroma isn't too sweet? Or is it? I'm not sure, but it's tasty, so it's all good 👌. I bought this (half-forced) with a friend during our trip, and later she said, "That sake we bought in Nagano was delicious, huh!" So glad! Come fall into the pit with me!
