Pear, walnut, licorice, brown sugar. Delicate but with a bit of heft towards the end. Lightly sweet with a touch of acidity. Nutty, molassesy bitterness, but not too strong. Slightly creamy.
The dusky pink color is a fun bonus! Apparently from using black rice.
The lack of Japanese on the label makes it look a bit less legit/quality, but I know this is a good brewery. But I searched in Japanese to try to find this product and I can’t find a version marketed there.

I don't understand it either. It's an English label, but it's good quality sake. And it is a good Japanese brand. I think Japanese people can enjoy it too!
