On the evening of the 15th, after finally landing in Miyagi, my original return trip, I enjoyed a sashimi platter from my parents' house and a bottle of freshly squeezed Banjo Kotobuki (Shiboritate) that I had picked up in Fukushima.
The goal of this series of large fishing flags is to represent the local way of life.
This azure has a light rice aroma and smooth mouthfeel. The slight sweetness contrasts pleasantly with the bitter astringency of the ori. In a word, silky, bitter and light. The acidity is fluffy and the pungency is moderate. It is perfect with sashimi, delicious 😆💕.
This is also a sake that was highly recommended by the son of Konno Sake Shop, near my house in Osaka, so it was understandably delicious 😋.
