We bought two bottles of Hanaboe, our first home brew, at Shima-san and compared them.â
Splash is an active nigori sake made from Yamahai
Just a little loosening of the bottle causes the lees to rise and rise↑
5 minutes of fighting💦.
It's cloudy white, and when you bring your nose to it, you can smell the rice and the bitter aroma, and when you take a sip, you can feel the shwash.
Soft sweetness followed by citrus acidity and strong bitterness.
Fruity and dry mixed together, tastes like a medicine.
After a little while, the sweetness started to come out, so I'm looking forward to tomorrow...
2nd day, sweetness came out, but still peculiar 🤔.
On the 4th day, it tastes slightly chili, the sweetness of the rice and the umami, and the acidity has become more apparent, so I don't feel the bitterness so much.
Easy to drink, drinkable and delicious. ❣️
I like it on day 2 if it's fresh and crisp, but I liked the robust taste on day 4 the best.
